No.

The way to get our country back is not for each state to go it alone. We need our country.

We need to overthrow the despots and jail them if found guilty. after a fair trial.

We must show the world community that the Republican experiment was a bad experience, religion and politics gone wrong, very wrong.

We need to assure ourselves that we can peacefully correct our own terrible mistakes, punish our political criminals and move to a reasonable government by our standard process. according to our laws.

I am not a Democrat but that party is the only option for any of us who love freedom and want our country back.

I believe that Republican Party management as usual can proceed in our various prisons around the country; we must allow our inmates to practice whatever abuse pleases them causin it don't be pleasin me, that;s for damn sure!

Sure I'd support secession.
A couple things though. The State I'm in is run by socialist liberals, so it would depend on whether it was the people or the politicians that would be running the show as to whether I would stay there. As it is, I'm not too keen on staying.
If a libertarian State like NH seceded I would probably move there. The only thing is it's too cold there, but I could probably deal with that.

Secondly the fed.gov would never allow it. Remember the Civil War?

Edit: opiapr - Hate to break it to you but the fed is already overflowing with corruption, has been for a few decades.

If it were put to a free and fair plebiscite of the residents of my state, I would happily abide by whichever decision they reached.

I am a firm believer in federalism and the concept of state sovereignty. If my state entered the Union freely, why should it not be allowed to leave the same way?

The wrong side won a certain war we fought over the subject 140 years ago (and not, I hasten to add, for the reason I'm sure some of you will assume).

Wow I didnt even know it could do that. LOl california could use a lot of money to disconnect themselves from us soil and float off into the sunset lol. Hmmm I dont know. If supporting it would lead to a better lifestyle then yes but all the states seems to come up with the same laws so whats the point lool

It's not unconstitutional for them to do so but I would have problems with it. I would see it as a form of betrayal against the nation and would want to hear the reasons why it wants separation. Calhoun believed that we are "a confederacy of states" and that each state has their own sovereign. But Webster believed "one nation, together and inseparable". If the reasons are valid for separating then I would support it but I don't think my state would be better off. I live in NJ and I think many of our economic and social problems would just destroy us as state if we were alone.

It depends. If the Fed get all F%^ Up with corruption and the violation of civil rights and my state oppose that I may. If my state just wake up one morning and decided that they want to be a Country just for the sake of being one. Well I will not I love my Country and that country is The United State of America.

I would move. This is our country, ALL of it.Love it or leave it. Don't try to tear it a part. Be part of fixing it, not destroying it.
