We read that to justify their very exstance after their '110% Madeleine home by Christmas' disaster, Metado 3, the Manuel of all detective agencies have again lanched an attack on Robert Murat. We read that 2 sisters Annie Wiltshire and Jayne Jensen who had a drink with Robert in the Algarve on 4th May have suddenly remembered that 'He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt and jeans and was very sweaty.
“He said he had to go for a shower because he had been in the same clothes all day, but Jayne claimed she had seen him in a striped shirt and trousers earlier.

Clear evidence then that a man sweating in the Algarve in May must be guilty of something... who writes this crap for Metado 3 ?

Robert Murat has co-operated fully with the Portuguese police and he has nothing to fear - he is an innocent man. I hope he takes a leaf out of the McCann book and sues these liars at the earliest opportunity.

The 2 women claim they saw a man RESEMBLING Murat smoking near the apartment the night Madeleine went missing. Then the day AFTER Madeleine's disappearance they met Murat wearing navy shirt and jeans and he was very sweaty. They had a conversation and a drink with him. He said he had been in the same clothes all day but one thought she had seen him in different clothes earlier that day. They said "they tried to tell Portuguese police at the time and then tried to speak to police in the UK without success. They finally spoke to the British authorities two months ago. The details were passed onto Kate and Gerry McCann’s private detective agency in Spain, Metodo 3, but have only just emerged."

So these 2 women have obviously been feeling extremely guilty and frustrated that - for 6 whole months - they had knowledge of what Murat was or wasn't wearing the day AFTER Madeleine went missing but were unable to pass that knowledge on to anyone or the fact that they saw someone who looked a bit like him the previous night. How terrible it must have been to have to keep that to themselves.

So .... why didn't they tell the McCanns seeing as they - "were on a two-week holiday in the Algarve at the same time as the McCanns and became friends through tennis".

Maybe I'm thick, but what difference does it make what Murat was wearing the following day anyway? And if they had become 'friends' with the McCanns through tennis why didn't they tell the McCanns directly.

The spin doctors are really beginning to panic and are clutching at straws now.

EDIT: Doesn't the fact that they thought they saw Murat in different clothes earlier that day just go to prove that there just might be another man who RESEMBLES Murat, and that it was this other man they saw earlier that day and the previous night?

Looks like PJ's policy of keeping Robert Murat as an arguido (even though he is now effectively eliminated as a possible abductor) is having the desired effect of distracting this half-witted detective agency. Meturdo 3 will waste even more of the McCanns' "begging bowl" running down this blind alley while the real police investigation continues.

I believe that any lead or event should be investigated.. Robert Murat should be a part of the investigation.... However I do believe now that the "McCann Internal Department For Confusion, Lies and Propaganda" are trying to turn him into a centre of media attention to take the focus from the McCanns themselves in an attempt to sway public opinion

Yes Robert Murat should be part of the police process and I do believe that he has fully co operated with their enquires.. Something that Kate cant say she has done!

What a wicked web of lies and deceit this story has become! and obviously pleasing to the McLiar's. As long as the 'real truth' is never revealed and the money is gained by whatever means, these lies can be spewed, no matter who is destroyed in the process. Although the McSchemers and their cronies think their guilty secret is well hidden, you only need eyes and ears to realise, the truth will catch up with them in the end, in a way and when they least expect it..

Good grief 100% with elsie on this one. Good answer. What on earth makes the McCanns above the Law that others would have to answer to. They neglect their children, scam a million quid (they seem to be very quiet about this lately), gain celebrity status, seem to be revered by having some kind of social status reminding me of Lord Lucan and are completely destroying Murat and his family to shift the blame. Just a thought how much are these new witnesses being paid by the McCanns or the papers for their story, or is it just a percentage of the fund if Murat can be blamed for this!

I'm sorry, but I don't believe these women are genuine. They reported it to the British police, and they obviously feel there is nothing to it, and that should be the end of the matter. Metodo 3 have been gunning for Robert Murat and his family from the beginning, but all their attempts to blame him have come to nothing. I hope that if he is cleared, Metodo 3 have to publicly apologise, and that he and his girlfriend sue them.

Before spouting off, maybe you should go to Praia-da-Luz, and ask a townful of people who they think is responsible for the disappearance of Maddie. As a part time resident of the town for over 15 years, I have come to know who's who, and what's what, and Robert Murat is well known for being a weirdo, and has lost access to his own children, and is BANNED from any contact with them.Ask yourself WHY

I have always believed from day one that he is involved, and at the start, he lied, the very reason he is still a suspect.

Yes, it is like they are inventing details that will suit their story. Don't worry.... the Police aren't that stupid.
I read somewhere that the Portuguese Police are coming over to England on the 27th of Dec to interview the McCanns and their 'friends'.
