Yes, I have to say nothing came easy to me, nor was anything given to me on a silver platter, I had to work and work hard to get where I am.

Oh if only you knew! I thought I knew everything at 16! I had my first son at 17 married a loser that my parents hated and now I know why we had three children together. He never supported one of them. He does not even know when their birthdays are. I got married again to a "real man" because the marines build men. Right? Sure they do! Men who after they come home from place like Viet Nam might have some sort of problems at least this man did. He is good inside but on the outside he is mean. I got a lot of hard knocks from him and one beautiful daughter with a good head on her shoulders! She picked out my last husband! We have been married for twenty years now. I have learned that life is good and to take it slow and that is not about showing anybody anything. I married my first husband to hurt my Dad and I ended up hurting myself and 3 wonderful children. At least my second husband was good to my daughter. I have learned to love the simple things, the smell of the rain, the call of the birds and the lovely dance that they do. The laughter of the children walking home from school. Yes I am a graduate from the school of hard knocks but I learned many valuable lessons in my 54 years on this earth!
