Here is a situation that describes a Liberals behavior....a man breaks into a house with the intention to steal and gets surprised and shot by the owner. A liberal would convict the homeowner of a crime and the thief would not only go free but get on some government program to help him to rehabilitate his behavior. Liberals love to give away money on programs that are pointless and benefit very few. Most people would consider the Democrats/Liberals the party for lower class people that milk the system for their entire lives. As far as the terrorist comments I would assume that's because they are again est the war in iraq.

If your not a Liberal, then most of the spill that comes across to Joe public is treated as very suspicious,
Liberal views seem to promote the odd ball theory's
of frustrated fundamentalists, lead by the most obnoxious band of by me a seat politicians that I have come across.
My Idea of a political party that's at least worth a look at
would be when they ask the people instead of telling them
when the can put a say a 5-10year plan that can be understood by Mr average in front of us give us time to digest it, take our thoughts on it into account then draw up a peoples white paper to add to their manifesto,
we are simple people, liberals only complicate things,
even if they have a good idea its overshadowed by the weird way its presented, therefor a Liberal vote is a wasted vote
sort out your party before you try and sort out Britain.
happy new year.

Probably because 'Liberal' tends to be a straw-man tacked on to anything that's ludicrous or extreme e.g Liberals ban Xmas.
I tend to see the terms as separate to left/right wing e.g. a person may wish to see greater state control but would like to see existing traditions remain, i.e a left winger but conservative.

Nice, Eelfins !!
Now where shall I start ? Liberalism always seems like a big cop out to me, a bit like "ooh, everyones ganging up on us, what shall we do ? oh I know we'll just force everyone to accept EVERYTHING because that way EVERYONE will be happy doing just what they want as long as it doesn't annoy people."
If the Liberal Party ever gets elected in the UK, ( and my God I hope they never will) , then we'll get sold into a federal Europe quicker than you can say " Edward Heath ", each household will probably have to have an obligatory "gay" member, whether or not the person is gay would be of little consequence just to balance the household, and if members of another religion want to take over this country well, what the hell, we'll all be governed by Europe so we can get out of the responsibility of having to decide on that one..........
And our armed forces ? A Liberal government would probably send them off to Afghanistan to help the Taliban with the poppy harvest...............
Going to have to stop, the bile is getting to me !

"Loads" are unfortunately the more vocal. it appears to
me, because "they" are satisfied with the "status quo".
Perhaps because their day is absent of "working to change"
injustices. By now, you have probably realized that my
approach to most things political in more in the vein of
Thomas Jefferson, Henry Clay, Franklin Roosevelt and
John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Arnold Schwerzennegger.
Please be certain "loads" ins not 100%. KENTUCKY USA

I hate loony left wing liberalists, they have brought this once Great Country to its knees. We were a superpower, huge Armed Forces, high export, Pride. Good education, clean hospitals, good public transport, good quality of living, good policing, and prosperity.
Now where are we. Depleted armed forces, all our industry and manufacturing closed and gone to China. Pride forgotten in the appaulling PC multiculturalistic dictatorship we now live in. Education gone downhill in discplinless schools that dont teach the basics. People dying of MRSA and Cdeficile everyday, plus nurses have to shift muslims beds towards mecca FIVE TIMES A DAY!. Poor public transport, poor quality of living for the Native British and increasing crime, Prosperity wtf is that?!
We live in a wishy washy, namby pamby, politically correct, multiculturalistic, dictatorship. IT STINKS!!!! I HATE IT!!
That is why I vote for the BNP and at the next elections (if there are any) I advsie you to do the same. You may think they are racist. They are the only ones standing up for the Native British. READ their policies and try and keep democracy ALIVE in this country.
Do you native women, want to go out in a burhka?
Do you native British want to live in an Islamic state?
I could go on and on.
Your choice. I will Fight for our Freedoms and If you have any sense of freedom and pride and want an end to this madness, then do the same.

Liberals hate conservatives because they tell you how to live your life.
Conservatives hate liberals because they feel that they are amoral or trying to take away money/moral values that they treasure.
The fact is, both groups are usually the extreme ends of the partisan politics, where the majority sides with one group or sits in the middle because they find an affinity to a group due to a moral or intellectual comparison. The end result is ignorance and disdain due to following party rhetoric to blend in and fit with a norm, however incorrect.
The best thing to do when people question your values is to take a step back, read what they had to say, see if this changes your values at all and if not, continue with your values. Better to forage forward with what you know works then to haplessly change every time someone says you are ignorant without providing a convincing argument to that end.

In general, the liberals are the people that raise taxes and expand the government and restrict what we as the people can do with out money. In America, by in large, we are people who believe in "doing for ourselves" as opposed to having the government try to do it for us.
Some people are just mean spirited though. I would say that if I did not know that you were from the UK (I understand the govt there) I might have said the same type of thing though. Americans are pretty passionate about freedom, at least the conservatives.

Translation needed. The word "liberal" in America no longer refers to political beliefs. Now it means "@$#%&*", whatever makes the world a bad place and people's lives miserable. It doesn't have much meaning anymore. A "liberal" is no longer real, more like a phantom. In case you haven't noticed, there's a whole lot of anger in America.
