I've heard very good things about it. (I'm not talking about the DS version here. I'm aware that the DS version was merely a 'demo' and all the promos are for the Wii version.)
I'm considering buying it, since I've heard it's comparable to games such as Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, which happen to be two of my favorite video games.
Thoughts?

I think the review from GameSpot is pretty decent in terms of explaining the game features to you, but they don't rate it too high:

Most people don't like it as much as Animal Crossing and consider it more tedious, but if you like AC, you'll probably enjoy this to a point.

some people say it is bad because it gets pretty boring after awhile and it takes really long to load. animal crossing i better. even if you reset the file, you will still have the same people.
