Yes. It is a lot of fun. The crazy antics these characters do on stage as well as the crisp high quality sound of the ps3 will have you rocking like no other game (yet) can! You can get up to 3 other people in the game at once and embarrass them all with your serious skillz.

its an awesome game, but with the amount of money you're spending you might as well buy a real guitar (you can get fender strats for less than 100 bucks) and learn to actually play. The addition of drums is pretty sweet, but like i said you should go and get a little drum machine (yamaha maybe?) and play that.

The early rock band guitar controllers had problems. You can use a guitar hero guitar with it though.
It is cool to do other instruments.

i don't personally own rock band, but i own guitar hero 2 and 3, and love them. i've played rock band numerous times and it doesn't even compare to guitar hero. i'd suggest not buying rock band, and maybe even buying guitar hero. if you want to sing just get yourself a hairbrush to sing into, don't buy an electronic one for over a hundred bucks.

My friends have had it for about 6 weeks now. EVERY time I go over there, that's what they're playing. If you have friends over all the time, it's worth it. If you're a loner, don't bother.

No. I heard its a one-time play then it gets old. There isn't as much song choices as the guitar heroes have. Have a friend get it ;D

If you are mainly into playing the guitar stuff GH is better and cheaper. The drums on Rock Band are fairly difficult if you have never played real drums before.

depends on your patience and dedication..rock band takes awhile to set up and takes up alot of room. and its really made for more than one person.
if you have co-players and dont mind the set up, moving, and take down i say go for it.

Why not ask this in the right category, like "games"? This is not a music question!
