Ok. I used to have all these games on my computer just fine. Then one day, i tried to play at it said, Make sure the disc is in... well, I took ALL The sims off my computer and reinstalled. Same problem with the pet cd. 'please make sure the disc is in'. IT IS IN! I uninstalled pets and now it works fine. I don't understand, it used to work and I have several other expansions.. why now?

Just a note. I know you have to use the most recent disk. Which is H&M fashion stuff (newst I have, anyway). It will say to put the fashion stuff disc in, and then it will ask for the pets disc and then say it's not in...
I even tried installing them in a different order.

no matter what order, or what expansions I currently have on the PC, if I install pets, it will automatically revert to asking for the pets disc, no matter what.

The disk probably just had a bit of dust on it or something, that happened to me and i went on the EA site and it told me all things i could try and suprisingly the first one which was to clean the disk worked lol

If you own an expansion pack that came out AFTER Pets, you use that disc to play. The Pets items and such are still in your game, but you need to use the most recent pack's disc to play from now on. (This is not the order in which you installed them but the order in which they were released; Teen Style Stuff is the most recent, with Bon Voyage being the newest full expansion pack.) That's why it tells you the disc isn't in because the correct disc isn't.

You probably didnt install them in order, you have to use the NEWEST cd you have.
