Judith. All our stamps have the Queens head on them. That is what I meant by her using one for identification.

Here is a link to our postal service so you can see some examples.

I'm pleased you are willing to learn about the Brit sense of humour, and who ever gave you the thumbs down was not very polite, I'm sorry they did that. hugs x

LOL...But I think so many people in the world are familiar with that profile she wouldn't need the stamp.

Yep, I am surprised she does not have her dogs on the stamp as well. I sure do agree about the Queen Charles as well. You are so funny and I admire your British humor. I watch a lot of British comedies on PBS.

There's nothing wrong with your Brit sense of humour Sylvia....would Her Majesty use a first or second class stamp tho.....probably first coz couldn't imagine her going second with us commoners lol.

There are a lot of look-a-likes who "do" Maj to the point where you're not sure who the real one is LOL. xx

Good Q but as she is unlikely to nip into the local bank or off- licence who is going to ask her for proof of I.D.? Anyway most ID in this country is for proof of age, eg purchasing alcohol etc. Don't think her Maj would have a problem there somehow lol.

So - if the Queen's head is one one side of the stamp - just exactly what are you licking on the other side?

Me tinks that the lady scans it, looks it over and one of the bazillon people in her employ wield the stamp on the paper. After all her lap is full of Yorkies.

Yes she does as my great grandma got a birthday wish from her for her 100th birthday about 10 years ago.

I guess when you have reigned as long as she, you are entitled since your likeness appears on stamps and money.
