Seattle would play GB first, since Seattle is the number 3 seed it is impossible they would play Dallas in the 2nd round. If both teams win in the 2nd round, they would meet in the NFc championship..
Infact.. thats what I predict will happen.

If Seattle wins they play Green Bay. It's based on seedings. Seattle is the 3 and Tampa the 4. Dallas plays the team with the worst record remaining after the first round of games unless it is Washington. You do not play a division opponent in the second round of the playoffs. If the Giants and Redskins (assuming the Redskins make the playoffs) both win in the first round, Dallas would play Washington and New York would play Green Bay. If Washington and Tampa win, Washington would play Green Bay and Dallas would play Tampa (again because for some reason the NFL does not want two teams from the same division playing in the second round unless it can't be avoided such as would be the case if the Giants and Redskins both win)

"Halfway" is completely wrong. it is all based on seedings, not records or divisions. dallas can only meet seattle in the nfc championship. As the #1 seed, dallas will be rewarded by playing the lowest seed remaining after the first round. this would be either #4 Tampa, #5 giants, or the #6 seed, but it cant be #3 seattle, because the #3 seed would be the "highest" remaining seed. now if both dallas and seattle win their 2nd round games, they would obviously meet in the nfc championship game, at dallas.

It would be the pack... The upper seed plays lower seed at home under all circumstances. Since Seattle is in the 3rd spot they will be the top seed in the first week. If they win they are the third best of the remaining teams, and #1 will play #4 at home and #2 will play #3 at home. The better your team finishes reg season the easier their competition is in post season.

Seattle would have to defeat their wild card opponent and depending on the luck of the draw, my guess is that the Seahawks would end up playing the Packers and another team would wind up playing Dallas.
Let's say, for the sake of arguments, Seattle beats the Packers in one divisional playoff and Dallas beats their opposition in the other divisional playoff, then it would be Seattle against Dallas in the NFCchampionship game.
Hopefully, this will answer your question.

Seattle being the third seed would be bracketed to possibly play Dallas (number one seed) in the conference championship. Though the Seahawks do not receive a first-round bye, the record dictates they will play the wild card team that is seeded sixth in the first round, with Dallas and Green Bay receving byes for next week.

The highest remaining seed plays the lowest.
WC round - 3-6, 4-5
Div round - 1-low, 2-high
SEA is #3 so they'd only meet DAL in the NFC championship game. And you'll have to see the WAS-DAL game to see if SEA plays WAS or MIN (who I'd think would beat DEN).
