Absolutely not.

I deal in facts--not the bigoted propaganda of the right-wing. And the facts are that immigrants make a positive contribution to our economy. The only taxes they are not paying are those pocketed by unethical employers. They are overwhelming hard-working people, just trying to make a better life for themselves and their children.

The facts are that the illegal status of 12 million of thes immigrants is NOT a crime--it is a civil violation (like a parking ticket). The facts are that the right-wing was in charge of Congress for 12 years and did absolutely nothing to fix the system.

I support amnesty and a guest worker program. Immigrants have been coming to this country for over 200 years. They arrive poor and not knowing the language. The take the lousy jobs. And they learn our customs and our language in time, and make good citizens. And in every period of American history, there have been the same pathetic bigoted voicescalling them lazy, stupid, criminal, etc.

Those are the facts. There is NOTHING, either in fact, nor in American law, tradition, orvalues, to support the wall or the bgots who want it.

Yes I do. We need to protect our country. In Australia that have a strict quota on how many people can enter the country each year and we should do the same here. The only way we could enforce that is by building a wall, otherwise we have everyone and their dog coming into to California.

Yes. I believe in building the wall because there are too many illegal aliens in the US. A wall would be a little more of a deterrent. There are legal ways to get into the country.

I like the idea of building two walls. With a trap door in the middle. Behind the second wall we can put a sign "Wall 2 of 50." Any country psychotic enough to build 2 walls is crazy enough to build 50.

Wait till Hillary is voted in to office. The Mexicans will build the wall to stop the migration of Americans fleeing the oppressive dictatorship of Hillary. The Canadians will do the same as well.

It may help but I think if implimented, the following would resolve the illegal alien issue without the need of building a wall.

Viable Solution To Illegal Immigration

PROBLEM -

Illegal aliens are breaking US law, depressing wages, burdening US schools, hospitals, and social programs.

CONSIDERATIONS -

People commit crimes for various reasons. Some argue that illegal aliens came to work. I know of teens that steal to eat. Drug dealers that deal to pay rent. My point is, regardless of the reason, crime has still been committed. As a US citizen, if I commit ID and SS fraud, I will be prosecuted AND, find it difficult to obtain employment due to my arrest and conviction. Illegals are being given a pass for the same crimes that a US citizen would be prosecuted for. Also, if they were forced to remain in their home countries, their countries would not be as able to ignore the problems that sent them here illegally in the first place. More importantly, illegal aliens are a direct slap in the face of those who go through the legal process to come here.

SOLUTION -

Illegal aliens should be offered citizenship applications, a clean criminal record, AS they register and leave the country. After 1/1/2009, any illegal caught here should be arrested, deported, and forever denied US citizenship. Lastly, a child born in the US of an illegal alien should NOT be granted automatic citizenship with the exception of a US citizen being one of the parents. SOME illegal aliens come here and have a child on purpose, to serve as an anchor to the US. Employers of illegals should be fined per illegal employee, and their business put on probation. Second offenses should shut their place of business down for 30 days. Third offense should result in having their business license revoked at that location.

Do these things, offer citizenship applications and amnesty for non-violent offenses in return for leaving, many illegals will go voluntarily with the hope of returning someday as a legal, US citizen.

Yes, the two tier fence that congress reduced to one tier. I want the second tier built up there. I want security increased with cameras, border patrol and whatever we have to do to keep the sanctity of our nation.
Passports have been delayed by congress also I want passports. I also want to return the identification in a polling place. Stop the one-stop drivers license/voters registration without proof of citizenship!

Nuff said!

Yes. A physical barrier is the only thing that will effectively stop the illegal immigration into this country, and protect our CBP officers from being shot or pummeled trying to patrol the border.

Yes, to please the GOP voters and displease the GOP employers. And here's what to do to please and displease those GOP types:

Make it a concrete fence 80 feet high, 24/7 manned machine gun guard towers every 100 yards, 3 warnings and the guards fire to kill and throw the culprits back across the fence.

In fact, not only a fence on the south border, but the same fence on the US-Canadian border. Disallow any traffic -- motor, rail, ship or aircraft from those countries.

Why not solve the problem, instead of useless and temporary fixes? What is the problem? well people make $40 a week , but the prices are based on much higher incomes ?? Why ?
Or why don't we help them to get their agriculture on the ball?
You know i believe we spend a lot more money to prevent them crossing, than what's needed to resolve the problem for good??
Too bad politicians don't understand Science and Logic ?!
