WTFever: U2's "Still haven't found what I'm looking for" is a good one. I definitely agree with that. Damn I hope next year is just all around better LOL.

Jakegyll: Ya know, I thought Matchbox 20 was washed up but then I seen there video for "How far we've come" and I have to admit that I was impressed. That's a pretty good song and it does describe the past year and also where we are headed.

What Goes Around/Comes Around - Justin Timberlake
Rehab - Amy Winehouse
Beautiful Girls - Sean Kingston
It's a shame these songs represent music in 2007.. but that's how it is

To me, the most memories come from songs that my ex would butcher while we were driving together like "hey there delilah - Plain White T's" and Michael Jackson's - Don't Stop from Rush Hour.
I feel that I've discovered so much new and different music this year that it's hard to sum it up into one song, but one of my favorite discoveries was probably the Rent soundtrack because of it's positive message. I also find Steven Sondheim's Sweeney Todd songs to be a great finale to the year.

The song that bring backs the most memories to me over the past year are all Paramore songs. One song that sums up the year to me is Stolen by Dashboard Confessionals.

any song from the panic! at the disco album
red flag by billy talent
faces by scary kids scaring kids
dont why i picked those, but i guess they kinda seemed to fit the memories of this year.

wow-you actually stumped me. i can not think of a song that sums up 2007..its been a good year for me personally..no troubles (knock on wood)..musically this was a "daughtry" year i would say....i guess with having a good year myself i'll pick poison's nothin' but a good time. (im easy goin)

I'd have to say Misery Business by Paramore, seeing how often its played on the radio. It's a good song, but they pretty much killed it.
