I just ignore them - Unless it's obvious that one person has given TD to every answer but their own, then I even things up

It depends actually. I think it's funny when I get them most of the time, but I really think it's a useless feature on this site. It only promotes animosity and negativism. Keep the reporting feature if need be; but do away with the unnecessary "thumbs down" option, is my opinion.

It all depends on the answer in relation to the question and also if a thumbs downer is in the viscinity.
