I believe that every woman has the right to enhance her appearance, however I'm against plastic/cosmetic surgery...I think its only accepatble in the event of injury, like a car accident of something. But everything else including weave is not permanent so whats the problem?
Of course too much make-up is no good, and fake tan can seriously damage the skin...
The truth is that a weave/extentions is not different from having a fake tan, changing your hair colour, putting on a lot of make-up, false lashes or nails. So it shouldn't be considered any different.
Anyway, everyone is wearing weave/extentions at the moment: Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears ...Its fashionable!!!

hmmmm..dont know..
you didnt add wear contact lens to your list..
I know hair weave is associated with black women, but I get extensions from time to time. I think it just matters if its done tastefully- and that applies to everything on your list.
There is a problem when a woman wears more make up then bozo the clown, and there is also a problem when she has so much spray tan it looks like she is trying out to be an Oompa Loompa for Charlie and the chochlate factory.. as i said, theres not a problem with any of this if it is done correctly and to moderation.. If a woman is wearing more weave then cousin it, then yeah, it draws negative attention- no matter what race she is.

A weave is high lights using 3 or more shades. Not a rug or a syrup like what I wear.

I live in the Caribbean at the moment and loads of people do wear weaves ... my friend Ally has about 15 of them, all for different occasions. They look great! I just wish it was possible to find blonde ones ...

my dear it's a judgement call put out my hairdressers who, like to maintain their income by pressuring women who have weaves to return for a new one at the first sign of the hairstyle being reviled as artificial...
If you have a new weave not many peole can tell, give it a couple of week I guess then comments fly

I never heard or thought it unacceptable to wear a weave. I guess it's a matter of personal opinion. 2D

Weaves are becoming increasingly more popular and less "comedic" thanks to celebrities. I personally dont wear any but im not a girl who really gets made up in any way. I think its just fine.
