yes this is pretty much the best online free 2d game ever created, i am only level 66 with 71 strength 65 woodcutting and 40 def and atk, but maybe we can be friends, my username is internal str.

This is the best game ever put together allowing hundreds of thousands to play free.

I love it....but sometimes it gets boring but then it gets fun again people who like other Internet games aren't very smart cause runescape is free,fun,and awesome just because it has lots of rules who cares hey have rules so younger people who play don't tell their parent or something and they get the game shut down if there were no rules the game would be inappropriate a and everyone would make it a dating thing or something(even though people say looking for bf/gf).

I can't really decide. It's good and bad in different ways so I think it's okay.

Pros:
-Many different skills that you can focus on
-You can choose from a lot of servers to meet your internet connection needs
-The forums I think are pretty good
-There are some good quests

Cons:
-You can't swear
-Free players only get about 1/32 of the Runescape world
-Too many rules and you can get easily banned for a small mistake that tattle tales report
-Graphics are terrible
-Here's one, it cost $5 a month to get full benifet, $15 a month to get full benefit of World of Warcraft $15 is 3X more than $5 but WoW is 20X better. Making WoW 17X overall than Runescape

So what have we learned, Runescape is a good game to kill time, but, no offense, if you're a little internet obessed online nerd gamer than WoW is the way to go lol.

I think, the whole Tombraider series of games are fun, They feature good game elements such as adenture, action, and real-life simularities. Lara Croft is an amazing character and very active and entertaining. I think that the Tombraider games are the bet out there, and having Brittish elements in them make them even better, kinda like the 007 Series, the Tombraider games were the first Ive ever played on any console, and as they say, the first time you play, its the best. So thats my answer, hope you get other surpriing ones.

It's okay. I have a leve 95 character. It's probably the best online game for $5 a month (members version) and there is a free version. Currently there is a winter event going on in there. But I'd say the best online game(s) out there right now are City of Villains and City of Heroes. Then again they are a bit pricey ($15 a month) but if you actually try it out with one of the trials you can see why- it's amazing. there updates suck

if you want a online MMOPRG, get world of warhammer or everquest (i suggest EQ2, its got a nicer comunity)

You need a faster comp tho, i payed £20 for 1gig of ram and i run it fine,

its also about double the cost of runescape per month

BUT it coutns the month of gameplay, not like RS where you pay for a month and only if you play for a week it counts as a month.

also its double the cost for about 200 times better

so yes

i think rs sucks :)
