Portion and some of the stage 2s are a little thicker as well as stage 2 has more options to offer, such as meats and other fruits.

There is a difference in the consistency of the foods. Stage 1 is more liquidy and doesn't contain chunks. Try the link to the website to get plenty of information.

Stage 1 is more water based and very easy to eat, and basic ingredients. Stage 2 is more thick and adds more ingredients together. Taylor is on Stage 2 and she loves it so far. She loves the Apple, Banana, and Oatmeal mix. Also loves the ham, pineapple, and rice.

Umm...have you read the ingredients on those things? Do you have a blender? (Hint hint ....)
But yah, 1st are for younger babies (runnier, ground up more) and 2nd are for older babies (solider, ground up less)
And they all smell really really bad after they've set out for a night - like hamburger helper pans that you don't wash right away...What do they put in that stuff to make it smell so bad? Doesn't it make you wonder?
Really (yah, I'm being a mom) it's better to just grind up the real and pure food in a blender and feed that to the little bugger :)
Love you!

The first foods are strained and more runny, the second foods have a little more texture to them and are a little heavier(less runny) other than that all the ingredients are the same!
