I am about to go into the third trimester and we FINALLY have a name. Thanks to all the people who gave me advice and helped out. We have settled on Anna Grace..... BUT..... I really like that as a first name. Do you think it sounds best as a first name or a first and middle name? Also, if we decide to go with another middle name what would sound best with it?

I love the name anna grace. I think just keeping it as her first and middle. and if you want to just call her anna grace you can, but others can just call her anna. Anna is beautiful all by itself! However, if you find amiddle name that you love to go with anna grace then go for it...just think its long for a kid...4 names. I dont know. Anna Grace is beautiful (as is for her full name). I would leave it, Anna as the first and Grace as the second... if you really like the way it sounds then call her it, but at least if when she is older (I taught middle school) and she wants a simple name then Anna would be better then Anna Grace, and she could simply go by that! It is very pretty!

i could see it either way. literally. my daughter is emily kathryn ________ and my husband's cousin named his little girl emma lee _______. it's really a personal preference thing. but, i would try it with a middle name that you like. then try yelling it from one end of the house to the other... like if you're in the bathroom and the four year old version of anna grace is in the living room and decides to start coloring the walls or sofa. see which you would prefer to yell out... anna grace or anna grace elizabeth!! i know it sounds silly, but that's what it's ultimately going to end up being! (not all the time, but at least once or twice--but don't worry, a year or two later, you will be able to look back on those moments and laugh!)

i think either way works well. i like the idea of having it be her first and middle because you can call her anna grace, but maybe when she grows up, her friends will just call her anna. however if she's anna-grace like mary-kate then you can choose another name to serve as a middle name. i dont think its necessary. if you do choose something for a middle name it seems appropriate to choose something that is still traditional and simple. i'm not sure what your style is or how you would feel about a name that ends in "ann(a)". like, Lillian or Lillianna. sounds like a tough decision but you'll make the right choice!

i think it should be a first and middle because anna grace _____ is gonna be a mouthful. Like anna grace Elizabeth walkker is a biiiiiiiiiiig name. If you leave it as a first and middle u can still call her anna grace

If your last name is short, put something long and musical in the middle. Ideas:

If your last name is long, leave it as it is.

i like anna as the first name and grace as a middle name.
if you wanted to use it as a first name then anna grace mae sounds cute or anna grace lynn. Just try to keep the middle name short because anna grace is a long first name.

i think its perfect by itself... anna for the first name and grace for the middle.
but if your looking for a middle name.......
