We were told by the doctor that there are only 2 ways to get a false positive. 1.) If you recently had a miscarriage or abortion (God forbid) and 2.) If you recently had a baby. Because the test only tests for Hcg and if you are not pregnant or recently been pregnant there will not be any Hcg at all. So congrats

Well, it's rare, but yes they can give false positives. The likelihood of getting 4 false positives is like almost zero. Even a faint positive is still a positive.
Congratulations (if this is something you wanted) and good luck!!

you can get a false negative, but not a false positive as the pregnancy hormone must be evident to give even the faintest line. Congratulations.

They do give false positives sometimes but with that many tests I would think theres a strong chance you are pregnant. it depends on how soon you had the test. wait a few weeks and then have one more. whatever comes out on that one is probably right.

You are most likely pregnant!
False positives are VERY rare, and would only happen if you were on fertility drugs, or had some kind of medical condition.
Congrats!

They can... But it's probably because you may be taking it a lil early... I got 2 negative tests with my daughter and so I waited another a week and got a positive one... So you never know... I can be either or... Good Luck! :)

there's a 99.9% chance that the test is right, so there's a pretty narrow chance of it being wrong [0.1%]
CONGRATULATIONS and if you want to be 100% sure, buy different brands of pregnancy tests, 3 of different brands. Then its extremely extremely rare for it to be wrong.
good luck happy new year x

it's very unlikely to get a false positive test!!! Your best bet is to get a test done by your doctor! But, your probably preggers!
