I have never been skiing/ or snow boarding in my life. Which is safer for a new comer and what about snow tubing?
Thanks,

Snow tubing is not a sport and you don't really do anything.
And it is for kids.
At ski it is easier to make progress progress, coz after you learn to brake and turn with the basic "V" way you will be able to go an a blue, easy run.
Now snowboarding is harder to learn.
I was able to go on a blue run from the first time a tried snowboarding. Maybe because my trainer was good and because i used to skate. Snowboard and skate along with all board sports are based at the same theory.

I think you should star snowboarding. It is becoming very famous, just look at the snow resorts, more snowboarders than before. You can be bored of skiing, I did after two years.
At snowboard there is always something new to learn.
The problem is that snowboard can be painful for your *** the first time, but don't give up.

Snow tubing actually has the least control and can be dangerous.

Some people take to skiing easier and some people take to boarding easier. If you skateboard then you may find boarding easier.

Skiing is easy to learn at first. Riding is harder to learn at first.

If you snowboard then having wristguards and a helmet are a must.

Stay away from tubing, its for kids that don;t have a clue, Boarding has a much smaller learning curve that skiing. Give it a try and take a lesson your first day. You will be up and boarding on your second day if you have any coordination at all and having a ball,.
