Songs that make people at red lights stare at you like you have gone irrevocably insane.
Songs that make You shred air guitar in your chair like a madman.
Two for Me right off the top of my head are
"Metal Church" by Metal Church
&
"Raining Blood" by Slayer
Both are almost compulsive air guitar anthems

Oh dear God of Thunder. I am an air guitar master. People bow in my presence as my imaginary six string wails.
Some of my favorites are Aerosmith's version of "Cry Me a River", "Honeysuckle Blue" by Drivin' N' Cryin', and Iron Maiden's "Somewhere in Time".

Darth, something about playing a real axe all these years has caused my air guitar playing to become virtually extinct. My fondest memories while still playing the air guitar are, 1) coming home from high school while my parents still weren't home and putting on "Live At Leeds" by the Who and JAMMING in front of a mirror; and 2) doing a completely silly version (how I thought it should have been performed) of "Good Times Bad Times" by Led Zep for friends upon request. Ah, high school . . .

This is probably a very obvious choice but;
Guns N' Roses; Sweet Child O' Mine
- It took /all/ my strength not to start air guitaring in the middle of Camden when I heard that song.
also;
Metallica; Master Of Puppets
I go /insane/ with my air guitar whenever I hear this song.
Opeth; Blackwater Park
...and many more.
I'm quite skilled when it comes to the air guitar, uh huh.
-nods-
rocket; mmm
Silver; I air everything. Air piano, air drums.. etc. At the moment I'm trying to covert the guitar/bass parts of a Melodic Death Metal song to piano, by ear [it sounds far-fetched, I know]. So whenever I hear the song, and I'm nowhere near keyboards/piano, I imagine where the keys would be and just start playing in the air... It's quite sad actually. ha.

My Air Guitar anthems include:
"Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC
"The Number Of The Beast" by Iron Maiden
"Ace Of Spades" by Motorhead
"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath
For these songs, i have to get OUT of my chair. I listen to classical music in the car, just so i don't get the urge to throw shapes in mid drive.
