It bothers me very much. i know money is dirty so they are dirtying themselves and pretty much licking the money and then giving it to me to touch it. one of my pet peaves

I don't think i've ever had a CASHIER do that to me, but I used to cashier at a gas station and that grossed me out big time. even worse was when ladies came in without taking a shower and took the money out of their BRAS.

Make sure that you lick all your groceries before presenting them at the checkout of a known money licking cashier.
Then at least it's quits ;-)

It also bothers me when people lick their fingers to turn pages.

Yeah, it's not good...a lot of times I'll get a cashier who'll feel the need to wipe their nose right before they givce me my change...people, don't go to work if you're sick!

That's why I use my credit card ALL the time. If they lick my credit card, it means they have some sort of sick fetish and I will sue them in a snap.

I mean, not really. Who knows where that cash has been prior to the cashier..LOL, its just bothersome to see it!

no beings that old money is proved to have feces and cocain traces on it.. (I seen it on an episode of 20/20)- a little spit compared to all that aint that bad in my book.

haha yes.
it's like they've never heard of that weird stuff that does it for them.
we had some of it one time...its like this little case of pink grease stuff i guess you could say.
it was supposed to serve as spit haha.
