I got some presents, but I also had some very productive business meetings the week before, a nice visit with relatives and close friends, and two days with my parents and my nephew. The fact that I have people in my life who are willing to take time to go buy me presents for Christmas was and always has been my best Christmas present, every year.

Yes, my grand daughter who was due on Boxing day and seems in no rush to join us.That would be a great start to the New Year

my life, I nearly died this year while taking a trip to my hometown because a car that was speeding ran a red light and was just seconds away from T-boning me and my family at about 80mph.
Other than my life, having my school tuition paid this semester is one of the nicest presents I've received for Christmas, thanks Mom!

I recieved a pair of pearl earings from my boyfriends mother this year, and they are really beautiful, and make me feel all 'grown up' I guess. Plus, because they are from her they mean more, like I'm accepted.
I don't get pressies for new year, never heard of that one!

The WHOLE house ALL to my self without having to deal with anyone's CRAP!! WOOHOO!!
