As far as i concern , there was no post-mortem carrried out for such influencial person. Well, I ponder why do the Pakistani rush to bury her without much organisation and examination, she was buried the day after she was assasinated.

Will Pakistan plunge into a situation similar to Iraq? I think politic is a very tricky game in this region, one mistake by the leader can lead to the country into complete chaotic. I believe it is going to a while before peace can be restored.
It's also strange to witness that people are vandalising and being violent on the street. Revenge only make things worse i guess.Have they not learn from their neighbour Iraq or Aghanistan?

I believe it is part of the Muslim culture and that it is in the Koran that the Holy Prophet urged Muslims to bury their dead quickly...it is certainly tradition that the process for burial is commenced within 24 hours. There are strict rituals to be observed around the whole event.

You ask two questions.

Answer 1. The burial was carried out within the normal space of time, according to her religion. There is little question as to how are why she died and a post-mortem would have served nothing. The reason for this comes from many cultures, especially those of warm countries and pre-refrigeration days, where corpses rot faster.

Answer 2. Any speculation on this idea is pointless at this juncture. Your knowledge of geography (Many miles separate Pakistan and Iraq! They are not "neighbours"), English ("....Burial was rush." , "..politic is a very tricky game, etc.") and your overall lack of knowledge of other races customs and cultures (See Answer 1), lead me to believe speculation such as yours is not only pointess but dangerous.

It is what muslims do. No different or quicker than any other funeral. Post mortems are to find the cause of death, to see if something was hidden etc.... I think the whole knows how she died.

I'll answer your actual question. What need was there for a post-mortem? It was pretty obvious what killed her!

It's the custom of the religion for burials to be done swiftly (a wise idea in a hot climate, too).

It's part of muslim religion to get the dead buried as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. What would a postmortem prove? That she was shot?? Doh!!
