All babies are different and who's to say what is "normal". He sounds very sweet, you can prolly use the extra rest anyways. Enjoy him.

If your son is only 15 days old, he shouldn't have a nap "time" he should sleep when he needs to. Newborns don't have set sleep schedules, as their bodies are not set up for that yet. It's not good for a child to be carried of held while they sleep, this creates a dependency to being carried all the time. Once the baby is tired and ready for a nap, calm him down by rocking or a baby massage and then once they're asleep, put him down. If he starts to cry, try lightly rubbing his back or belly and see if that calms him down. A swing or rocking bassinet may also be handy if he likes to be moving.

Let him take his nap by himself .When he gets tired enough he will go to sleep. He should be sleeping on and off when he wants too.Thats what newborns do.If u keep sleeping with him then u will always have to sleep with him in order for him to fall sleep. My advise is to do what I did.I put a small rocking crib by my bed. I rocked him in his own bed while he saw me next to him. Good luck and congrats on the new born.

MAC powder is rather stable, on the grounds that's "point" make up, it provides a matte end for an mind-blowing style of the day. I do additionally propose which you utilize an oil loose moisturizing lotion, no longer cream, to place under the powder, you do no longer desire the make as much as clog your pores and reason smash outs. you additionally can attempt bare Minerals, i attempted them final week, and you would be shocked how nicely it covers each thing :)

You cant spoil a 15 day old infant. Dont even listen to that. However he is used to being right by you and it may take some time to get him used to sleeping on his own. You need to put him down and let him fuss a bit - shouldnt take too long for him to learn to settle himself down. But dont let him cry too long - newborns need thier needs taken care of right away!

it's normal..but you should break him of it soon. My baby is 4 months old and sleeps in her own bed. Just keep putting him down for a nap and rubbing his back or singing to him softly..but try to avoid cuddling him too much after about a month...or else he won;t be able to fall asleep on his own. But 15 days old is still very tiny...so don't worry...his sleeping patterns will become more regular in a couple months.

Well, until 15 days ago he WAS carried and always had another heart beating near him. An idea: try swaddling him. It's another way of simulating the prenatal experience.

Swaddle him nice and snug, sit in a rocker until he closes his eyes, then gently lower him into the crib with a rocking motion to your arms, then when he's down in the crib, continue gentle rocking motion with your hands underneath him and slowly withdraw your hands.

My child did that too. It's normal, they can sense when you are not near in their sleep. Just don't make a habit of holding him while he is asleep all the time, you will regret it later (personal experience). Try one of those bouncy seats or an infant swing (or his car seat). Mine loved the bouncy seat, but hated the swing. Congratulations and cherish every moment.

when my son was a baby, the doctor told me it was because he was used to hearing my heartbeat in the womb...and that he needed some white noise. so, i bought a cd of the ocean and would play that when he slept, worked great. congratulations and good luck.
