ya now that you ask, it is gay! Next time someone says that to me I am going to make as many baseball references as possible in the conversation. For example. . "we didn't strike out did we?" "That was pretty foul" "Well, I hope it's a home run for you" When I am up to bat, I will check my bases" My average is above average" are you implying I should steal a base" "I perfer to slide in" " you have to punt when it comes to him" "I catch what your saying" Then tell them you have to go you are hungry for popcorn and hotdogs!

Yes, it's a very dumb and annoying saying. I actually had someone say that to me earlier today. It happens quite often. I usually just try to ignore how dumb it sounds.
