No because a red line shows up under a misspelled word so the button is not necessary. Grammar checking is needed more on here but that is personal I guess.

95% of the time I do use the spell check button; the other 5% of the time I don't - there is often a spelling error.

no because i dont want to waste time checking my spelling as long as it make sence and i have helped people i wont need to worry about it and i like to save time to answer other peoples questions and help others lol
