Is it realistic to have a laparoscopy to remove a cyst &start peginterferon within a couple of days?

I start interferon and ribavin two days after a laparoscopy to remove a solid mass on my overy. Is this a realistic timeline since the surgery has a recovery time and there can be really bad side efects from the peginterferon and ribavin?
