Do you think that Jaime lynn spears's show ( Zoey 101 ) will be canceled? Its not really a ' childrens ' show, its a teenagers show ( thats why it is shown later in the day, like at 9pm ) Like, what are they ' punishing ' her because she is pregnant? They already have the 4th season tapped. So, can't they just show that season, then by the time it is over Jaime would have already had her kid, and a few months off. then they can start the show again? Maybe postpone it for a FEW months. BUt why cancel it?
What are they punishing her? Do you think her show should be canceled? I dont want it to be.....

Oh yeah and if some of you watched the commercial i guess, whats his name like chaise or soemthing says he's in love with her so she wont just stay their. i bet it the beginging of the 4th season. then after she finds out he lovesr her than tshe will come back and that begins the whole fourth season.

im not sure what their doing after the fourth season. i think that while the 4th is being shown, they can let her have her kid and take off a few months. then start recording it again.

i think it would be pathetic to cancel it.
and Zoey 101 is actually under teenick, but i think the most people who watch it are probably 11-13. like its a preteen show, for middle school students.

During any of the shows their going to show, she is NOT pregnant. it was ALL recoreded before she got pregnant. so, u can't see that she is ' getting a little fat, u can see in the commercial ' cause she was not pregnant yet

they wont cancel it.
the ratings are too good.
they cliff hanger episode of her moving with her parents, will be a seguey to the 4th season, and they will play the 4th season, and come back and no one will ever realize she was pregnant, unless they knew already, but they wont cancel it cuz its a lot of money to lose.
they arent punishing her, the people form the show say was mature how she went about it, and not condoning premarital sex

Yes, I think that the show will be cancelled. One reason is that most TeenNick shows don't continue after the fourth season. A big reason is that Jaime Lynn Spears IS pregnant (which is not such a suprise, considering she is Brittany Spears' sister). I'm not sure that they are punishing her, but because she is pregnant, I'm sure they don't want her to be on that show.
Your last question. I do watch the show sometimes, and it isn't that bad. But I think that with the pressure Jaime Lynn is going under, and that it is the last season, that it should be cancelled.

I don't think they will cancel it, honestly. I think it's great that Nickelodeon is going to do a special with Linda Ellerbee about teen pregnancy now that Jamie Lynn's pregnancy has come about because this is going to raise a lot of questions and concerns.

As for cancelling the show, I think they should be all right with how much they have filmed already, but they may have to take a hiatus for her to have the baby and get back into filming again. That is, if she wants to go back to the show - she may want to take time off and adjust to being a very young mom.

I hope that the network cancels it- and that they FIRE Jamie Lynn, who behaved in a completely irresponsible manner and needs to learn some hard lessons about personal responsibility. She was hired to be a role model to millions of girls nationwide, and she has utterly failed to live up to what was being expected and asked of her. Most actors and actresses have a morals clause in their contracts with the studios they work for- and they are employees of those studios, just like people who work in a restaraunt or any other business are employees of that business. The purpose of such clauses is to prevent situations like the one Jamie Lynn is in by prohibiting the behavior which leads to and causes them. In Jamie's case, that was not enough of a deterent, however, and the result is that she's pregnant at 16. It would not surprise me if Nickelodeon not only cancels her show and fires her, they also decide to sue for breach of contract- and they will be well within their rights should they decide to do this. They have more than enough grounds for suit- and I am sure that Jamie must know this.

Think about this for a moment. Because of Jamie Lynn's irresponsible act, I fully expect that we will see a sharp spike in the number of teenage pregnancies in the next few years, because her being pregnant at 16 is going to be seen by millions of teen girls, who in turn will think that this is the "in " or "cool" thing to do. It won't make any difference to these girls what the real and often tragic consequences of their acts will be- they will just want to be like Jamie, because she's their hero and role model. That's why I believe that the best thing the studio executives can do is get rid of Jamie, and get rid of the show that featured her. Without her on the air to watch, the teen girls who were her fans will find someone else to watch, someone who is hopefully a little more responsible about her behavior. I know it's sad, but that's the way it needs to be, for the sake of many millions of teen girls in this country.

I just saw a commercial on Nickelodeon (i think that's how its spelled) my brother was watching it and he told me that they were going to have her leave PCA. So they might continue it without her they might not.

But i dint know how to answer the other part, and as for punishing her; I dint think so. She can't do the show while her stomach is increasing in size and she's gonna have a child. Their simply (in my opinion) helping her out.

Have you ever had a kid? I'm guessing not, their not punishing her. if you really were a fan you wouldn't be so unreasonable. Sorry to be rude, but think about it? have you ever seen a pregnant woman??? It would be too hard to do the show. and uncomfortable for her too.

They are simply caring for her.

Hope i was of some help.

They had already finished shooting the 4th season of the show and that was suppose to be the last season. It had nothing to do with her pregnancy, she had already shot the shows before announcing it.

THE 4TH AND FINAL SEASON HAS ALREADY BEEN FILMED AND WILL AIR SOMETIME NEXT YEAR!

They decided it would be the final season well before she announced her pregnancy. Every show must come to an end at some point. Having 4 seasons is a pretty good run for this show.

i am pretty sure that the show is completely canceled.
they will do re runs, and show the episodes they've taped that haven't been aired and call them new, but from what i've heard she wants to raise her kid at home the right way, so the show is done. they aren't "punishing" her though. its her choice to raise the child, and it can't be illegal for a 16 year old to have a child. sure, its hard and sometimes considered wrong, but its not illegal, and she can do wahtever she wants.
sorry if you liked the show, but raising a child is a little more important than a tv show,
zoey 101 is doneee....

I think it would be hard for her to balance a show biz career life, and the onset of being pregnant, and even after she has the baby she still has a lot of responsibilities to fulfill.

Being a mom is hard, being a teenage mother can be even harder for her.

It wouldn't be much of a Zoey 101 if her character was cut out of the script either, so canceling the show doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.
you can always watch the reruns.

It's not a matter of whether or not to show her with a pregnant belly, it's a matter of sending a message to kids/teens.

If children/teens see that Jamie Lynn can make a mistake like getting pregnant and not have to pay the consequences of having her show cancelled, then kids/teens will think that it's okay to have sex and/or get pregnant because it will look "cute" or "fun".

They may show the next season but they probably won't show anything after that for many different reasons. She is no longer a good role model, but since the spears family made a lot of the money for nick they might let it go on.

I think it sets a good example to cancel the show. It shows all teens out there that getting pregnant as a teen has major consequences. Not to mention that she was supposed to be a role model for young girls out there. She's not much of a role model anymore if she's an unwed pregnant teen now is she?
