Well I use recycle toner it's cheaper and some do yield more than the prior did so I had ordered two for the price one new one would cost me. In my case it was 2,000 sheets with a brand new toner and now it's 3,000 sheets with the recycle toner. So far so good. I would buy from the online vendor again through yahoo shops.

House of Inkjet ( I had to call them up too add more carts for my color inkjets too the order) they were nice, very prompt and shipped my order out the same day! One of the best services I had online. My Toner cost $89 to $99 new now it's $44 each for recycle toner that yields 1,000 more sheets.

One main pro of recycled toners is that there are a lot more of them available in the high capacity versions. The high and low capacity cartridges are essentially the same cartridge, but the high capacity is full of toner whereas the low capacity only has a fraction of the toner inside. E.G. HP Q5949A (LOW CAPACITY) 2500 PAGES vs HP Q5949A (HIGH CAPACITY) 6000 PAGES.

The toner isn't recycled. The cartridge is recycled.
