anyone want to list some footballers who don't exagerate their talent, or play for truckloads of money? Ricardo Kaka and Fernando Torres come to mind.

kaka is very humble not braggy
cesc is very modest as well, he's very good but says he's not one of the great players
torres is humble as well, many of the spanish players are all modest
definitely not modest players include cristiano ronaldo - he tops the list! ronaldinho is quite show offy with his tricks and stuff but not braggy

There are many such players. But unfortunately, the players
are professionals and have to make a living and many who
are good get paid heavily due to the competition. Some players
by nature are quite and some are not. Kaka and Torres are
highly paid players.
Players exaggeration is left for the Ump to deal with and fans
to comment on....Often all soccer players exaggerate sometime
or the other, but some do it less and other more.

Torres earns about 80K a week. On the high end of premier league wages.
Kaka is the highest paid player in the Serie A on 6 million Euros a year.
Want humble, Damiano Tommassi. While he was injured long term he refused to be paid his regular wage by his club, accepted about 1500 Euros a week instead.

Are we talking players who play top flight football? Paul Scholes is a very humble player who plays quality football for the game. He does not like to be interviewed and keeps himself to himself.
