Without electricity, I wouldn't need any DVD's, but I'd probably take the McGyver box set for seasons 1 - 5, just to read the liner notes.
The 5 books would be, Robinson Crusoe, Rand McNally World Atlas, Boy Scout Survival Handbook, Shipwrecks for Dummies, and a current issue of Better Homes and Garden.
My one food would be Pizza, because I never get tired of that, but I wouldn't tip the delivery guy.

Old School, Forest Gump, Euro Trip, Happy Gilmore, Gilligan's Island (Season 1).
Wealth of Nations, Of Mice and Men, the Old Man and the Sea, The Cat in the Hat, and How to Build a Boat and Escape from a Desert Island for Dummies.
Food would be spaghetti.

Do I have a dvd player, or tv? I hope so!
For dvds I'd have Love Actually, the first series of Coupling, Shirley Valentine, Oldboy and Girl with a Pearl Earing.
Books I'd have the bible, and a concordance to go with it, Jane Eyre, a Marion Keyes book and How to be Self Sufficient by John Seymour.
Food, I guess I can eat whatever grows up there, and I can eat the animals and keep some goats for milk, so all that is missing is potatoes. Or chocolate, I do get kind of grouchy without chocolate...

I wouldn't even need dvds....Can they be of use out on a deserted island? Don't think so. So I would just burn them and use it for fire. My unlimited food would be cheese pizza. I don't read so I don't know which books.
