how early can you detect pregnancy? like if you got an at home test would you be able to tell if you were like 2 or 3 weeks along? or would you have to wait a couple months?

I found out at 2 weeks the exact day I was suppose to start my period.

I actually found out the second pregnancy 2 days before missed period the third pregnancy about 5 days before missed period and this one three days before I used a test that can be found at walmart the name is ANSWER and the cool thing it is only 8 bucks and comes with two test . So if it doesn't show up with the first test wait a couple of days and try the second . You can sometimes tell 5-7 days before time but do the test in early morning because thats when HCG 9pregnancy hormone is the strongest. Good Luck honey on whatever you want the outcome to be . As soon as you miss your period you can test, but if it's negative you can wait a few more days to a week and test again just to be sure it wasn't too early.

I believe you are 4-5 weeks along when you show up on a test. I know it isnt months

As soon as you've missed a period, so usually you'd be 4 weeks pregnant (4 weeks since your last period) when the test is most accurate.

You need to be closer to your missed period before taking a test, I was about 4 days away from my missed period when I took a test.

it depends on the type of test...i took the clear blue easy digital..its cost more like 10 bucks or something, but i found out when i was only like a week along...
i reccomend it to everyone!
