Which movie to see with a 10 year old and 12 year old?

I think The Golden Compass is a terrible movie for children. National Treasure 2 is a great movie for ALL ages that the parents will enjoy as much, if not more then the kids.

10-year-old- Golden Compass
12-year-old- National Treasure: Book of Secrets
Overall, you should see National Treasure 2. It's a lot better than the Golden Compass. I've seen NT2 and it is the best movie that released this month.

Both are very good for both ages. But a better movie to see is National Treasure, but what is more age appropiate is Golden Compass.

National Treasure.. My personal choice because its better and your kid would perhaps be more entertained but if your looking for one not too violent, I'd say The Golden Compass.

I haven't seen either yet, but I think that National Treasure 2 would be better. It has the #1 spot on yahoo movies. The yahoo user rating is way better, but the critic rating is slightly lower (by one spot)
A friend of mine say the movie and said it was awesome.

Golden Compass was against God im a Christian and I still saw it, and i saw National Treasure AND LOVED IT! NT2 see it. Golden Compass had killing and blood so no.

National Treasure seems to be connecting with audiences better.

The golden compass was a children book, so I think That is the better choice.
