No, just buy another collar specifically made for cats.

I agree with the rest. The cats will not tolerate having a choke chain around their necks. Just put a regular collar on the cat. You can still teach the cat to walk on the leash without that added extra reinforcement of the choke chain (besides what is a 7 +/- pound cat gonna do that needs the extra reinforcement)

Dogs have stronger necks and they respond to 'teeth' on their neck as a dominance thing for the pack, so choke chains work that way for them.

Cats have far less muscle structure in the neck and can be severely injured if one is used on them, plus they don't exert dominance by grabbing another cat's neck and holding them down. The collar is completely wrong for their species.

If you can't afford a $3 collar, don't put one on the cat.

No, a cat wont tolerate something like that & will choke himself to death trying to get free.

A collar will run you about $1 & change.

DONT use the choke chain

No. A cat will choke to death fighting the pressure of a choke chain.

Try a harness instead of a collar. And never allow a cat to keep a collar or a harness on when you are not actually walking it on a leash. Cats can get their collars or harnesses caught, and they will fight to get loose and can strangle to death.

No, not hardly. If you want to use a leash on your cat, try a haulter type collar.

No, I would not use a chain with a cat, it could be dangerous.
