They won't even know about it -- unless you tell them

Colleges tend to look at your Sophomore and Junior year of high school. This is because when applications go out, you are usually in the middle of Senior year and no information about it is available. The greatest emphasis is placed on Junior year, then Sophomore year, then least emphasis on Freshmen year, if they even look at it.

6th grade would put you around 11 or 12 years old, so unless it made national or regional news and "shocked the community", you should be in pretty good shape. They can only review the information that you give them, which is from high school. They receive mountains of applications from other people and they will not spend the extra time looking into your life story.

Good luck.

NO! they only look at things in your high school career! Unless of course you murdered someone, comitted a felony, or farted. ( just kidding on the last one) Whatever it was you did im sure it wasnt that big of a thing to keep you out of a good school. Dont stress it. And if you want to be sure, call the schools you are interested in and ask! there is no shame in asking if you are worried. Good luck!

No, not at all! Colleges really only look at high school grades and activities.

It depends on how bad it was. if it was something that was brought to court and was very serious than yes. But if it was something small than no. They mostly only loook at your high sochool records anyway.
