Yes - one would have to suspect Musharaff and a phone call would be suspicious, but they do tend to gloat and announce their victories to the world. I'm sure they'll have more to say about it in their next press release video.
Musharaff seems to go to exceedingly great lengths to be cooperative and not be seen as a tyranical dictator to be behind something like this. I think it's out of character for him.

What is also very fortunate is that sun roof levers can now hunt down and kill people!
