I think they are equally likely, depends upon the person. Questioning your government is not just a right of a citizen, but a duty. Liberals would be better served by asking the right questions though, instead of a shotgun approach of questioning everything, and thereby, diminishing the questions themselves. If a liberal is in office, then the neocons will jump on everything the liberal president does. If a neocon is in office than the liberals wil jump on everything that president does.
