only A can be used because its the only one that gives the absolute age. All the other ones are for relative age (something's age in comparison to something else). D is only used for things less than 50,000 years old like the person above me said.

D. C14 dating only works for things less than about 50,000 years old. So no.

E. Since D is false then No.
