MOT(Ontario)What are the parameters for getting a Handicapped Parking Permit?

Can I not use it in the person's car that is carrying me to a Doctor's Appt.?

A handicap permit is issued to the handicapped person. It is not issued to the car of the invalid.
You may transfer it from car to car, whoever is driving you.
