I don't know if this qualifies for being stressed but on Christmas Eve, my husband and I were driving home from out of town and witnessed a car accident. A man with two passengers in his car ran a red light and hit a woman who had a disabled mother, very young daughter and a teenager in the car with her. My husband and I stopped to see if everyone was alright and we noticed that one of the men and his friend were walking away from the scene leaving the one guy to face the police. We alerted the officer to this and he called for back up. They arrested the actual driver. He was in the backseat of the police car laughing and denying being the driver. I went off when I saw him laughing!! I, all 100lbs and standing just over 5', walked toward the guy screaming at him to "fess up" and stop laughing because he could have killed these people!! My husband and two police officers had to hold me back because I was so angry!! I swear, I wanted to strangle the guy right there with multiple witnesses AND the police!!
It's funny to me now because I know everyone is fine and I was stopped before the rather large criminal could have killed me. lol

I was not the one who started the arguement but I once got into a confrontation with a young lady at a Subway location. Her manager had left for some reason and I was following my normal routine of going in to get dinner after my workout at the gym across the street.
Well she was doing something in the back and no one could find her. There was a long line of people waiting for her and all of us were calling her. I went next door to the florist because I had thought that maybe she was injured or something. The florist went behind the counter at the Subway to find the young lady in the far back of the store taking to someone on her cell phone.
The young girl went balistic that customers were behind the counter, when we were actually checking upon her welfare. She swore like a sailor and was rude and combative with everyone in the store. Just then her manager returned but it was too late, I had enough abuse from the young lady. She actually called me a "mother f***er" before I went out the door.
I never saw her at that location again.

I used to work in fast food as a manager. I did have one girl that was always in a bad mood when she came to work and she always came off kind of gruffly. One day she just got fed up and started yelling at this person that came through the drive through being picky. It happened to be someone from our corporate headquarters, so not only did she get fired, but I got into trouble too (with the store manager, owner, and corporate). I used to feel like going off on some of those people myself, but they did pay my paycheck!

What Lisa said is true!
And I've had to save her life more than just this once.
Many years ago, while we were in Virginia Beach, we stopped at a 7-11 in the middle of the night. She was paying for her purchase and didn't have anything smaller than a $100 bill at the time. (She didn't notice the sign at the cash register that stated We Do Not accept anything over a $50 bill for purchases). When the guy told her he couldn't accept her money, and this was a HUGE man, over 300 pounds easily, she went off on his @ss, because of his attitude. As I watched from the safety of our car, I was thinking to myself..Oh God, she's gonna get killed! He could have easily ate both of us for breakfast. She was literally about to crawl over the counter to get to the guy.
It's funny now, thinking back, and looking at her...all 98 pounds of her big bad self. THINKING she could actually take on a man that size.
The sad part, the man was actually afraid of her so that saved my @ss from having to get out of the car and take on that bear of a man.
How she has survived to this day, is beyond me!

yea I was walking back to my hotel late one night early morning actually after finishing a dance engagement. coming up the hill on the other side of the road,I could see these two guys argueing and bickering over the fact that they had cigarettes but one of them had lost the lighter so they couldnt smoke, these guys were shouting at the top of big mouths, you know the kind toughs who take what they want,
then they spotted me going down the hill ,as we drew level on opposite sides of the road, the tall one squalks to his friend there look and begins to cross the road heading towards me he shouts to me you got alight man right!!!!
I replied 'wrong again"
so he stops dead in his tracks thinks for a second ( These two guys were born losers ,
I doubt they ever made the right decision about any thing in their lives) that was it,
the penny had dropped he replied wrong again what the fcuk do mean wrong again?
they both proceeded to hurl abuse at me,i just kept going down the hill ;
by the time i got to the bottom I was laughing so much I could hardly stand up, as I rounded the corner at the bottom, I bumped into a couple who thought that Id escaped from the local loony bin, that was at twenty minute laugh, you got to remember these were the sort of guys that like to terrorise people!

Yeah, I can imagine it. There's so many rude people around, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.
Some people just don't have any manners or respect for others....good for you and I'm glad your manager was understanding although it's not good for business to go "postal," as you put it, some people do need a wake up call.
