I can't stand any of those text-message abbreviations. WRITE IN ENGLISH!!!!

Yes with that and a lot of other text messaging lingo. Can't anyone just spell out things anymore. Take a look at some of the questions and answers on yahoo and I think schools no longer teach English.. It is a sad state we are in.

Well... mostly yeah I do. Because you are asking a question and when someone answers your question the answer is supose to help you out instead of saying....

Yes, I do. Because that means they are just answering to get a lousy 2 points. An "I Don't Know" answer isn't an answer, and it isn't helping anybody. And "earning" those two extra points isn't even really helping them because it's not like these points can actually GET you anything.

if they don't know the answer, why bother letting everyone on YA know that they bothered to answer the question just to get 2 pts.
i mean, really ppl, if YDK, click the cancel button and find something you do know about.
it only takes a second to find another question worth 2 pts.

I do get annoyed with that answer if they are answering on a board such as this one. What is the point of answering IDK to a question on a internet forum? If they don't know the answer then they should not click to respond.

Yep, definitely. It's also incredibly annoying when you ask a specific question, like a question about something in science fiction, and people answer with 'I don't like science fiction', or 'Science fiction is awful'. Ugh, it's so annoying, you are kind of like why are you answering if you don't like science fiction?!?

Yes, I always think it must be some 10-13 year old writing that crap. It took me nearly 6 months to even figure out what it means.

It's not an answer and it can be reported but I never report no matter what the hell happens. Yes, it bothers me but take the 2 pts and go. Points are widgets anyway, they're stupid.

Yes, because what the heck was the point in answering if you didn't know in the first place. Pretty f'n stupid if you ask me. I could have been a smarta*s and answered "IDK" to your question, then you really would have been annoyed.

Yes that is so annoying, I wish they could think of something better to respond with. And not only that, they do it repetively and that really is bothersome!
