I'm assuming you are using a torrent, and no it doesn't mean that it's a virus. It's more than likely one or more of these reasons
1. The torrent is going incredibly slow,
2. Your ISP has capped bandwidth
3. Your share ratio sucks and the tracker has capped your speed because of it.
4. Or there is no seeds, or leeches with packets your computer is asking for.

Make sure you share double of what you downloaded, and you'll find that you start dl'ing torrents MUCH quicker. Everyone hates a mooch and alot of trackers will ban you outright if you don't keep a minimum share ratio.

Maybe the file is corrupted with something malicious. It could also be possible that the source isn't allowing you to download from their server. You may want to try downloading the file from a different source if it's been five days just to be on the safe side.

If you are on dialup that is not good for downloading large files. If you are on ADSL, you have to check with your IP service to see if the have limits set on how much bandwidth you can use with them.

I would advise you to cease and clean out your "C" local disk drive. Because it will required cleaning of all temp. files.
