We in the north of Ireland could not believe when he was elected not just once, but twice. He is incurious, arrogant, spoilt, ignorant, and worse of all, dangerous to US and the world.

I know he did not win by much, and that the election results may have been tampered with, but frankly his election makes US look like a land of fundamentalist zealots and/or materialistic greedy people.

Since I travel to US often, I also know is not so, but this is the impression the rest of the world does get.

Dont you mean Bush being President of this country for TWO terms???
I shudder at the thought.

I think it means Bush is on heck of a liar, or else our whole country needs pshychiatric help, but my bet is in the first one.
I honestly dont have any idea how he can possibly live with himself while knowing that he has sent thousands of people to die for unjust reasons just so he doesnt have to admit he was wrong, and still is. and trust me, he knows what hes done.
Im beginning to think he either has no soul or hes just soo good of a liar thats hes even tricked himself.
It is truly sick what he has done and caused, yet I have never seen one ounce of remorse coming from that man.
Just ignorance.
I dont understand it

I don't believe it says we are all stupid.

I don't believe that it says that a socially defective Republican excuse for government is what we want.

I don't believe that the damage the Republican Party has delivered to our people, reputation, economy and waning respect around the world is satisfying and welcome.

I do believe that we sat on our haunches, expecting things to sot of take care of themselves while a small group of individuals without character and a sense of responsibility took our country from us and indulged themselves in the theft of all those things so many had worked for for the last two and one half centuries.

Whether the American People will once again recover what was one of the best situations on the planet remains to be seen. We must either take our government back and punish the culprits or resolve ourselves to the sorry excuse for government the with which the Republican Party now pollutes us.

It shows what a gullible, self centred, insular person, many an American is.The average American doesn`t give a damn as long as gas doesn`t go over $4 a gallon. True story, I`ve just bought a Fiat Spider from the States, I asked the vendor why he moaned about the price of gas reaching $4 a gallon "Well our cars use a lot, compared to Europeans" With an electorate like that you`ve got what you deserve, incidentally we pay $10 a gallon and our leadership isn`t much better.

People in this country are too lazy to do any research and just follow the propaganda. We are spoiled and lazy as a people. We never used to be that way and hopefully we will wise up soon or we will lose all we have worked for in the past.

The leader of a country is the most visible representative of that country. We know that we are hard working generous people but others see us as greedy, arrogant and corrupt because our top leaders are this way.

It says that are primaries and are election processes are too corrupt and do not work. In the 2004 election, the only other option was John Kerry, a flipflopper. We need an election reform and we need more choices! The founding fathers never saw that political parties and a bipolar nation would be the result of their electoral college set-up!

We really don't know how things would have worked out with Kerry or Gore. I really don't think we would be in Iraq, but who knows what else would have happened? While I don't like George's policies and am ready for a change of parties, we can't predict how that will work out either.

Yikes...

Well, it says that 51% of the electorate needs to get out the ol' smelling salts.

Seriously... it does not speak well for America. But... there's many millions of wonderful, thoughtful and intelligent Americans... and the world is betting on them to turn American society around.
