To pay autoglass to replace my smashed passenger window after a break in without losing my no-claims bonus on my insurance?

Given the time of year, do you think I could get it done cheaper or is this a pretty good offer?

compared to loosing your no claims plus the excess you would pay,£75 notes seems pretty good.Shame there was not the hand of the little **** who smashed the window inside the car as a trophy.

Its not an offer is it? It's the what you agreed to pay for glass on your insurance. As many times as it happens with no loss of no claims bonus. By the way, toughened glass is really quite expensive. Throw in a laminated/tinted possibly heated windscreen too and £75 is really cheap.

Its got to be better than going through the insurance get a few more quotes you might find something a bit cheaper.

what car have you got??? as its pretty simple to fit a side window,75 quid is the norm for this but you can get a glass from breakers or ebay for peanuts and fitting should take no more than an hour by someone who can.

first check your insurance cover ..most give free glass cover..(eg no loss of bonus)
if not work out what your "no claim bonus" costs... in my opinion .. use the insurance
thats why you pay it.. and 75 pounds is ok...
or you could try the wreckers and get it fitted by a friend or yourself..not hard to do..

As wegg49 says it`s not a bad price, but to do the job yourself is not rocket science and a replacement from a scrap yard would cost considerably less.
Sorry to hear of your bad luck.

Yes I would say it was pretty reasonable, considering the call-out and labour charges, by to days standards, that's a good deal,
Sorry it happened though

£75.00 is very reasonable for a new fitted side window. I would pay it with a smile.
Ja.
