This happened about 20 or so years ago. Every now & then, I would put something down on the table (whether it was a glass of water, or my watch, or my cigarettes & lighter). 10 minutes later I would go to get it, and it would be gone. I only had a 3 room apartment and I lived alone, so I know the stuff didn't just get up & walk away. After searching everywhere & not finding the item, I would call out into the empty room "Ok - whoever took it, put it back please". Then, a few minutes later, I would find the item in a totally different place - sometimes the bathroom, sometimes the bedroom but never where I had put it.

When I was younger I probably would have told you to be careful what you say. Spirits like the opportunity to "prove" themselves to you. I learned that the hard way. When I was about 13, my friend and I decided to play the ouigi board. After asking personal questions, and getting real answers, my friend was a skeptic and asked it (it called itself Id) to proove itself. No sooner did she say that, the stereo in the corner turned on and started playing hard core alternative on the highest volume, as I was looking around the room I noticed a picture on the wall with the heads of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis, the skin was rotting and falling off their faces until they were skeletons. We were pleading that it would stop, scared to death, the stereo went dead quiet, the faces turned back to normal. We were holding each other so tight praying that we were going to be alright...afterall we were home alone. A couple moments went by and we decided to turn ALL the lights on in the house and watch TV until her parents got home, as we were walking out of the room we heard scratching on the window then a her cat FLEW across the room, like someone had picked her up and threw her! We heard laughing. I called my mom and she came and picked me up (I told her that I was feeling ill), I left my friend there by herself and I still feel guilty that I had done so. She wasn't the same after that. Anyhow, I have more "childhood" experiences...but I'll tell you this much, I bought a home that was built in 1870, I live 5 houses down from a cemetary, and I have yet to have any experiences since I've been here. Maybe they're waiting? Maybe I'm too easy to scare and not a challenge...I don't know...and frankly I don't care to know!

My friend and I had played with a oujia board the night before and we talked to a girl named Mandy who had died very young in a hospital...
the next day, on halloween, I was at my friends house which is right by the pre-school and I had an urge to look up a hill and when I did I saw a little girl staring at me in the window (weird because this is at night so no kids should be in school) and the girl watched us and then faded away. We went up the hill to look and at the back of the room there was a small child sitting at a desk... we looked at each other and when we looked back she was gone and the chair was on the desk like the others.
Later we were playing hide and seek in a cemetry and there was a grave with a sort of orange glow...there wasn't any lights around. And we walked up to the grave and it said Mandy Marshall on it.
We were scared.
A few days later we found out the pre-school used to be a hospital.

I have had several encounters. One was at a hotel in Vancouver, Canada in July 2006. We were at a sci fi convention and many weird things were happening to people in one area of the hotel: a maid's vacuum caught on fire, one lady was thrown across her bed--in front of 3 friends, lights were doing weird stuff, the fire alarm went off, etc. The last day of the conference, at the closing party, I had taken a few photos with a digital camera and when we went up to the room to download them to the laptop, I noticed an aura around and across the guest of honor's head. We enlarged the area and there were 2 faces superimposed over his face. 2 not so nice faces. We made copies and took them back downstairs to the party.

we own a house on the water worth about 1,800,000 dollars. We had to knock down a large amount or forest to put up our house. One night when i was down at my dock by myself reading by the moonlight (sounds fake but i really do this stuff) a misquito bit me so i got up to go inside. I went inside and sat down infront of the fireplace. We were low on wood so i went down by the dock to get some more when i went down that i saw someone sitting in my chair where i had been reading. When i walked up closer i saw the face of an indian man. He got up and then walked off the dock and fell into the water with no splash. He was sort of a wind but not really a figure yet i could make out his face and outfit... very creapy but thats just on of the cases..

we were returning from an out door play late at night. there were several people in my van, my daughter was sitting beside me in the back seat, as i gazed out the window i saw a huge black hooded shape about seven foot tall move out toward me, " my god did you see that? i asked everyone, my daughter then said " look behind us". it stood clearly there in the road then glided towards us. we speed out of there quick. but that's only one experience I've had in my life that was mysterious.

Noone can MAKE you a believe. Either you believe or you dont. And if you dont i dont think stories will change you, only if you are ever able to experience something for yourself.
