Touche, people are way to sensitive on this site...it sucks. if your going to ask the question then you should be prepared for the answers your going to recieve. Constructive criticism. Dont ask if you dont want to know. people just sugar coat their answers to make people feel better about themselves. i.e. the, "am i pretty" questions... "NO" if i see that title then i can answer the question without even looking at the picture because only ugly people seem to ask that question...has anyone else noticed that...thanks for this question because ive been thinking about that to every time i give an honest straight forward answer...and im getting tired of the violations, every stinkin time....

I agree with you. I have answered questions honestly and have gotten a violation before or the person does not like my answer and has an issue and reports me. There is no free speech on yahoo asks.

The only thing that gets erased on here is if someone reports it, weather its a question or answer. if you dont want to answer a question then dont, but they shouldnt report it either (but you know how people are). as far as an answer, well some people have thin skin. I get answer violations all the time, probably 10 a week. I like pissin the dumb off, FLUCK EM! lol lol (ever notice the people that send nasty emails never get return emails, its always off.)

Some people just can't handle the truth. Then u have dumb questions that deserve a dumb answers. Then u get dumb people that report u! Makes no sense to me, some people just need to get a life. I've had answers deleted that should not have been and questions as well. Tell me how u can post the same question twice and 1 gets deleted, hmmmmm makes u wonder!
People don't realize it but it takes 3 people to report u to get ur answer removed. Those people reporting u have 3 accounts I'm sure!

Alot of the times, people ask questions to get the response they hope to hear instead of the answer that is truly best. There's people like that everwhere, not just on Yahoo Answers. Everyone should have freedom of speech, our opinions are the ones that make the U.S., the U.S. I think you should just be careful of the way you say things. Best of luck.

another thing that gets me dont get me wrong I love this answer thing is if we ask a question it takes points away. If you do not have questions then you will not get answers. I think there should be points for both. Even though those points dont mean a thing I noticed it the other day....lol.

They will sometimes remove your post if you use swear words, or if you make some type of ethical or racal or gender based slur.
Its funny, those questions are allowed in the context they are written in, but there is something obviously wrong with your answer and the context its written in, if your post is being removed but the answer stays.
Keep your answers clean and try to use those big words with lots of meaning instead of those short lil 4 letter words with blunt meaning.

I don't think so but apparently Yahoo does. I got blocked by some dumb girl who didn't like the way I answered her questions. I told her she was a bad pet owner and should have her cat taken away from her; she kept asking about getting it declawed and how she kept it locked in a cage. So whatever. Don't take it personally.

No it is not wrong for you to voice your opinion on this site as long as it does not violate the guidelines of yahoo answers. You agreed to those terms when you set up your account.

I will speak my mind on here but I will do it in a formal way without calling anybody names.
Yesterday someone disagreed with one of my question and she took the liberty to email me a very offensive email calling me names and attacking members of my family....this is too much! If you can't behave with a minimum of respect log out.
