I am a mother of 5 month old girl. I am working full time. since i
could not gather enough milk for her i started giving one formula feeding a day. i pump 4 times at work and collect just enough for two feedings.
I have atravel coming up in end of January to Argentina. i will be away for five days. i have couple of concerns:
how do i collect enough milk for her five days need when i am barely able to collect for her couple feedings?
- i will be pimping on my travel. although it will be very difficult since i will be on road
- any advise on storing milk while i am on road in the day and will be returning to the hotel in the n ight?
- i will be traveling three places in Argentina. once i refrigerate milk how will i take it to next destination and can i refreeze the
milk again?
- how will i bring milk to USA. It is 14 hour of travel?
- what supplies do i need while i will be traveling for safely
storing and transporting milk?
- will my baby be back on my breast? Thanks

you can have UPS deliever with dry ice once you have pumped and stored your breast milk. To increase your milk supply drink more water have a adequate diet. Pump as much and as frequent as possible. If you pump while you are @ mom besides feeding I am certain you will increase your milk supply. Please make sure she is latching on correctly that should be why you are not producing as much as you would like to be. Look up the La Leche League in your area for some pointers PS I wish you the best of Luck. I know its hard work but believe me it's so worth. Peace and Blessings to you.

I would start trying to get her to latch on. SInce you'll be with her those days you can just nurse her as usual. That will solve all your problems.

Youc an get cans of ready to use formula for the trip, they dont need to be chilled.

Just start getting her back on your breast so you dont have to pump the whole time and lug around bottles of milk.

I would consider taking some kind of cooler that can hold ice and just try and always keep it on ice.
