Hey guys, i keep gettin these two IEXPLORER pop-up from internet explore, which i dont even use, i use Firefox, but anywho.. i can turn both of in task manager, but itll be off for a while but then itll come up again, the pop-up doesnt actually pop up, it just shows up on my task manager and slows the computer down by a lot.. and ive scanned for spyware, virus, now im stumped, iono where to go to get rid of these two pop-up, ican shut it down when he comes up, but when im in a middle of a game, its kinda a hassle.

you may have some sort of spyware.

Try Adaware

however you may need a more intensive anti spyware.

I recommend that you check to see if your programs have the latest definitions because it could be a new virus/adware.

Also it could go through your "messenger" port, search online for a way to disable that and if that virus/spyware/adware whatever it is is using it then it will block it.

Try to search for what is written on the popup or in the title bar and see if it reveals any information on what it is.

Also some virus and spyware/adware programs aren't the greatest so if worse comes to worse try to find something better.

I pay for F-Prot antivirus and Max Secure Spyware detector. They have caught everything for me. I was able to reduce computer boot up time from 8 minutes to about 2 minutes.

Sounds like some kind of adware or trace spyware.

You can download the free version of Superantispyware. I use this software and is well known to find what all othrs miss or are unable to delete. http://www.superantispyware.com
