When digital drawing/coloring for comics to print, whats a good DPI to keep the image at?

Whats a good DPI to keep things at for print purposes (both for comic books, and for nice finished prints for sale?)

300dpi would work in most cases, but for professional use it'd be 600dpi.

Generally, images for print are created at 300dpi at a minimum.
