...does anybody know what the difference is between a Ducati 900 sport and a Ducati 900 supersport? All the pics and specs ive found on the net are identical but the kbb blue book shows about a $1000 difference betweent the two bikes

it is like the r6 and the r6s. r6 is like the actual race bike in regards to power and the r6s is more street friendly. more tamed than the replica. So probably the bike more expensive is the more powerfull than the other one.

Nothing mate.

Early model thats all. Dont forget this bike was launched just after the 906 & 907 Paso.

They had to call it " Super" to sell more.

The supersport is probably tuned for racing. The sport is geared more for street ride. The supersport should have a lot more "giddy up" in its ride.

once you get the DUCATI, you get classification, admire, envy of your friends and different riders and you get the girl. once you get the eastern motorbike, you get a chilled journey to holiday and you open a can of whoopass for canyon carving.

could be a difference with tunning and or plastic parts being switched with carbon fiber
