I belive a calling is certain in your mind from the start...as a fantasy results in you sitting up rubbing your head and thinking...Well...that was weird! The courage? That's up to you girl...we all have to face our own dreams and realities.

A dream to follow will require education. It will require more of you than you dreamed you had available. A dream will develop a following, not all friendly.
Courage is best developed in small steps. Bravery is when you see a house burning and run in without thought to rescue the cat. Courage is when you see the house burning, and you remember the 2nd degree burns from the last time, and run in to rescue the cat anyway. Courage in the face of certain adversity is a rare thing, and best developed through practice. Small brave things, done . Not knowing if they'll succeed. A few here, there, and eventually you'll be acquainted with what is scary. Talk to a crowd of people. Go big game hunting in Wyoming. Make a piece of art, then go sell it. Sing lead in your choir. Date the local genius. Work a progressive, liberal political campaign. There are lots. Takes practice to be endowed with courage. You don't have to face down a gun, but maybe a bully. Remember, courage is doing the right thing, even though you know the world of hurt it can lay on you. Put some money away by the way. Good Luck.

Maybe you shouldn't distinguish between the two. Your dreams and fantasies could very well be the same thing. After all dreams a supposed to be interpreted and fantasy is something you want to do. In my opinion you should follow your fantasy and continue to dream, eventually you will find a place in the middle.
If you don't risk or take a chance on something that is dear to your heart (This is the key!), you are destined to be a normal human, which may not be such a bad deal itself. But just consider the possibilities if you take a chance! Challenge life!
And, key word "The Secret" it may make all the difference.
Good Luck

I think your dream (purpose in life) is just that, your purpose. Something that has meaning, a sense of doing something worthwhile. A fantasy is la la land, something that may give you fun, joy and happiness for a short time and fantasy is always about your self gratification and has no purpose. Courage comes from doing, stepping out on a rock the first time. The next time it is a little easier, and so on. Take the first step towards achieving your gold, the next step will be easier. Best wishes.

There are two ways to make through life: one is where you follow the logical your see meandering through life you share with other people; and the second is when you listen to your heart, where are dreams are born. You must be clear about choices you make through your life, or you might find yourself stuck half way in between alternating realities. It is the second path in life where we need the courage to realise that what soft whispers we hear are in fact tidings of a dream taking it form. It is easy to surrender one’s dreams in front of solid and stark realities of life if one is not courageous enough.
All dreams are fantastic reality of the mind, but some are far too expensive and daring to be followed. The real dreams, in the terms you have used, are dreams that are enhancements upon things in your life. In this sense then our true dreams are ideal realities of all things we already have in our life. Whatever we have in terms of relations, possessions, abilities and powers may not be in our mind and in our heart wonderfully well. Our dreams then fill gaps in our lives in their own wonderfully fantastic ways. The dreams that can be shared are real dreams too. Then also the dreams we see out of love and affection for people in our lives. In this regard some dreams are good just for the sake of them being with us, as dreams. Some dreams far exceed things we could ever find in physical reality of our world, we should find out what they are and if found worthy should be cherished - not all dreams become realities; some dreams are better if they stay dreams.

I cannot distinguish the two. Because sometimes, what I dream about comes true.
For example, my last predictive dream was about my young sister (it happened in the middle of October, three months ago). I have had any contact with her for years and I did not that she got married two years ago. I dreamt that she is pregnant, so I made a call to my mum the next morning to tell her that Françoise is expecting in May (in the middle of May). However, my mum did not understand immediately what was going on, because she never speaks about my sister. At the end, considering the strange event she told me the truth about my sister. I was right and it was so surprising, considering how much my mum wondered at what I saw in my dream.

When it's real you just know it because of the feelings caused by it. Your instinct says: Go for it. Sometimes we mix dreams for fantasy because our dreams might seem untouchable or crazy at that certain time. But when you listen to your instinct, your inner voice, your sacred self, call it as you like you're never wrong.
